Here are the promised pictures of buzz-cut boy:
Happy kid – water all around…!
Skinny-dipping again…
Going under…
…and retrieving the balls H’s son loved to throw to him…
Pimping the Almanzo Wilder Farm t-shirt I got him.
And for good measure I’m sneaking in a haiku I wrote some time ago:
Boy with autism
Speaks the language of genius:
Absolute silence.

Love the haiku…and the buzz-boy!
Oh these pictures are precious!!!!
Liam’s brother, Mark, has cerebral palsy as well as a host of other conditions including mild autism. He’s approaching 40 and has recently moved into a wonderful small residential unit in London after being lovingly cared for by his parents since birth. Their parents are now elderly with worsening health issues of their own. The decision to place Mark into care was difficult and emotional but was the right choice for Mark’s welfare. He’s a happy person which is testament to the care lavished on him by his parents and family. Still, it was hard to see him leave.
